No. Nothing in Familiar is priced per person. Publisher plans are a flat monthly price (Imprint at $39, Press at $99 and House at $249) with unlimited team members, and royalty tracking is priced by book (the first 10 are free, then $1 per book per month). Invite your whole staff, every author and every agent at no extra cost.

Administrators have full access, including members, billing and organization settings. Collaborators work on every book but leave members, security, billing and statement sending to administrators, and cannot see sensitive contributor data. Viewers see what Collaborators see, read-only. Staff contributors are in-house editors who see only the books they are linked to. Contributors (authors, illustrators, translators) and agents sign in to a separate contributor portal and see only their own books and statements.

Yes. Every contributor gets a portal where they can read their royalty statements, see payment history, download PDFs and keep their profile and payment details up to date. Their agent can see the same statements for the clients they represent.

An administrator opens Organization settings, goes to the Team tab, enters an email address under "Invite a team member" and picks a role: Administrator, Collaborator, Viewer or Staff contributor. They receive an email and join the team when they accept. Authors and agents get access to the contributor portal from their contributor record instead.

Yes. If you run more than one imprint or work with several publishers, one account can belong to several organizations and switch between them. Each organization keeps its own books, contributors and team.

Yes. Add your organization's logo, set the header colors and add your own footer text, and every royalty statement goes out in your press's look.

Yes. Each organization's data is separate. If an author works with two publishers that both use Familiar, each publisher sees only its own books and statements, and the author switches between them to see each one.

Instead of answering "When will I get my statement?" or "How much did I earn last quarter?", authors sign in and find out for themselves. They download statements, look back over earlier quarters and update their own contact and payment details without involving you.
